Location IconKuala Lumpur
Salary IconRM 5,000 - RM 7,000

Role Summary

The Supply Chain Manager is the operational backbone of SOLS Energy's SCM department, responsible for hands-on execution across all five SCM pillars: procurement, inventory management, productization, licensing and insurance, and distribution. The role translates strategy into daily action, supervises a small team, and builds the systems and SOPs that allow SCM to scale.

In this role you will:

  • Execute all procurement activities and manage Purchase Orders from issuance through to delivery confirmation.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms to protect margins.
  • Own and maintain accurate stock records, monitor stock levels daily, and conduct regular stock takes.
  • Produce accurate commercial and project costings and keep the pricing database current as supplier prices change.
  • Support productization, from sourcing new products to quality control and price-setting.
  • Manage end-to-end product licensing, certifications, and compliance with Malaysian regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate distribution and logistics, from order collection through dispatch and delivery confirmation.
  • Prepare and manage tender submissions and maintain records of outcomes.
  • Develop and improve SCM SOPs, tracking tools, and systems, and supervise and coach a small team.

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple SCM functions, including procurement, inventory management, supplier negotiation, and logistics coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail, as errors in costings, POs, or stock records directly cost the business.
  • Comfortable working with pricing models, BOM calculations, and margin logic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for stock tracking, costing, and reporting.
  • Able to manage a small team, delegate clearly, and drive accountability.
  • Self-driven and operationally proactive, and comfortable building processes and SOPs from scratch.
