Role Summary

Your role in our team will be to work closely with our Project Manager, fellow Developers and CTO to deliver seamless web apps that are user-focused and user-driven, in order to enhance the deliverability and learning experience of our users.

In this role you will:

This is a hands-on development role. You will contribute production code, investigate bugs, build new features, improve existing systems, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.

AI-assisted development tools are part of how we work in 2026. Developers are encouraged to use AI to improve productivity, but must understand the code they submit and remain fully responsible for its correctness, security, maintainability, and impact.

In this role, you have to:

Develop and manage projects independently.
Build & manage custom-coded portals from scratch.
Upgrade & maintain portal; frontend & backend of the website as well as a cloud platform.
Complete assigned tasks in the defined time frame.
Have the ability to learn quickly on the job with minimal supervision.
Deliver bug-free code.
Have the ability to be highly productive within a remote team environment.
Support the Project Manager and CTO as needed.
Follow good security practices, and help keep systems and the community data secure.
Work on other tasks requested from your supervisor.
Work on other relevant duties assigned by your reporting manager / The Management from time to time.

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Software, Programming or relevant fields.
Ability to understand and use data to drive decisions.
Ability to manage workload and deadlines efficiently.
Ability to adopt new technologies/software efficiently.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and project management skills.

Hands-on experience with the following skills:

Skill updates: ReactJS
NextJS
TypeScript
Modern JavaScript
HTML and CSS
Tailwind CSS or similar styling frameworks
Git and GitHub
REST API integration
Basic backend development concepts
PostgreSQL, Firebase, or similar databases
Authentication and authorization concepts
Browser developer tools
Responsive web development
Basic application security concepts
Debugging and troubleshooting
Basic UI/UX principles
Deployment workflows
Create complete web portals and web services, frontend and backend with API

Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:

React Native
Node.js
PostgreSQL
Firebase
Next.js API routes / Server Actions
Vercel
Cloud services
CI/CD pipelines
Automated testing
AI-assisted development tools
Open-source projects
Production applications with real users
