Role Summary

As the Finance Manager, you will manage the day-to-day finance function of SOLS 24/7 Group, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting and strong internal controls. You will work closely with senior management to support budgeting, cash flow management and compliance, and act as a key point of contact for auditors, tax agents and bankers.

In this role you will:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and month-end closing.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, financial statements and variance analysis against budget.
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in coordination with department heads.
Monitor and manage cash flow, banking transactions and treasury matters.
Maintain and improve the accounting system, internal controls and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, including LHDN tax filings, SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS and other regulatory submissions.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other statutory bodies.
Oversee the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing with proper controls.
Support grant and donor financial reporting where applicable, ensuring funds are tracked and reported accurately.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to support business decision-making.
Supervise, coach and develop finance team members.
Undertake other ad hoc tasks and support work as required.

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

A degree in Accounting/Finance and/or a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA).
At least 5 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards (MFRS/MPERS) and statutory compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills.
Meticulous, proactive and able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
High integrity, strong sense of confidentiality and business ethics.
Highly organized, self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
