Role Summary

The Commercial Sales role is instrumental in advancing our mission. As a Commercial Sales, you'll spearhead efforts to expand market share, meet sales objectives, and cultivate a robust B2B customer base.

In this role you will:

  • Identify and cultivate business development opportunities, fostering new sales leads, and proficiently negotiating and finalizing deals.
  • Conduct thorough technical site assessments to evaluate feasibility and gather essential data for proposal preparation.
  • Introduce SOLS’ equipment and solar systems to B2B clientele through compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Review or create designs tailored to clients' solar installation needs.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction, offering proactive support, exploring new avenues for growth, and suggesting enhancements to profitability and service quality.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals, project schedules, and requisite documentation for commercial and SME solar initiatives.
  • Oversee commercial transactions, ensuring seamless coordination among departments for project execution.
  • Monitor key performance metrics throughout the sales pipeline.

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

  • Certification in GCPV (Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Systems) accredited by SEDA (Sustainable Energy Development Authority).
  • Should have experience in commercial sales focusing on solar systems of 72 kW and above.
  • Minimum of 2 years' sales experience, preferably in B2B sales.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Technical field.
  • Demonstrated success in expanding a sales portfolio, consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
  • Proficiency in selling technical solutions, with the ability to swiftly grasp and communicate the value propositions of commercial solar solutions.
