Role Summary

As a Commercial & Industrial Engineer at SOLS Energy, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of renewable energy solutions among our commercial and SME clientele. Your primary responsibilities will involve engaging with customers to understand their energy needs, providing expert advice on solar systems, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle from design to implementation. You will be the face of the company, championing our solar offerings and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

In this role you will:

Engage with B2B customers:

  • Meet with customers on-site and do technical site visits to understand their energy needs.
  • Provide customers with comprehensive information about the company's equipment and solar systems.
  • Enhance customer engagement by communicating SOLS Energy's values that stand out from our competitors, and drive growth through engagement with potential customers and provide excellent after-sales service.
  • Lead commercial deals from initiation to completion, collaborating across departments.

Apply your knowledge in Solar PV systems:

  • Assist with the preparation and review of solar designs for customers, ensuring that expectations are met.
  • Utilise insights and knowledge to enhance our solar offerings and address client needs.
  • Create impactful proposals and timelines for commercial and SME solar projects.

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

  • Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technical or equivalent.
  • At least 5-7 years working experience with at least 2 years working experience in B2B sales.
  • Have a good knowledge in Solar PV systems or equivalent.
  • Successful track record growing sales portfolio, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Good command in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Computer literate and proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Comfortable selling technical solutions. 
  • Able to break down technical information to convey value propositions regarding commercial Solar PV systems.
  • Responsible, independent, positive working attitude and able to work in a team.
