Commercial & Industrial Solar Engineer
Role Summary
Take the lead in our Commercial & Industrial sector, where you'll spearhead success with expert site assessments, precision-crafted Bills of Materials, and robust sales strategies. Excel in surpassing sales targets and driving dynamic B2B growth.
In this role you will:
- Solar Site Visits & Customer Needs: You'll assess customer energy needs through on-site visits and consultations..
- Solar Design & Advocacy: You'll help design and review solar systems, ensuring they meet technical needs and championing customer interests.
- Project Proposals & Management: You'll assist in creating proposals, timelines, and managing solar projects from start to finish.
- Sell & Support Solar Solutions: You'll explain the benefits of SOLS Energy's solar systems to businesses and ensure excellent customer service.
- Learn the Solar Industry: You'll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of commercial solar projects.
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree: In Engineering, a technical field, or a related area.
Experience:
- Solar Background: Some experience or knowledge in the solar industry is preferred (though not explicitly required).
Sales Experience:
- 2 years of sales experience (preferably B2B).
- Proven track record of growing sales and achieving targets.
Technical Sales Skills:
- Comfort selling complex technical solutions like solar systems.
- Ability to explain technical details in a way that highlights value for customers.
Qualities & Skills:
- Adaptability & Creativity: Ability to thrive and innovate in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication & Advocacy: Strong communication skills and the ability to represent customer needs within the company.
