Marketing Manager
Role Summary
As the Head of Marketing at SOLS Energy, you will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities, from managing leads and engagement on social media platforms to setting objectives and preparing for adhoc requirements. You will play a pivotal role in steering our marketing strategies in line with our business priorities and company goals.
In this role you will:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand awareness, create social media engagement, generate leads, and promote referral marketing for SOLS Energy.
- Lead an exciting, to-be-launched project designed to propel SOLS Energy to become the top residential solar energy company in Malaysia. Drive the successful implementation of this project to achieve business goals.
- Establish and maintain constant alignment with sales managers to ensure a steady lead volume, adequate conversion rates, and an acceptable customer acquisition cost.
- Continuously improve and document all brand touchpoints to ensure consistency and alignment with the brand's messaging across various marketing channels.
- Manage projects and collaboration among marketing executives, graphic designers, videographers, and digital marketers, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
- Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, including marketing executives, graphic designers, and videographers, to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.
- Utilize various marketing channels and strategies, including Facebook ads, Google ads, SEO, referral marketing, social media, blogs, and email marketing, to achieve marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote the GreenHeroes program, facilitating community sharing among homeowners by leveraging existing customers to invite friends to these gatherings.
- Measure and analyze the performance of marketing efforts, with a focus on social media reach and engagement, customer acquisition cost, funnel conversion rate, and the productivity of team members.
- Focus on enhancing social media reach, social media awareness, and organic traffic growth to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Liaise with external graphic design freelancers to support creative needs as required.
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Brand, Advertising
- Minimum of 5 years of working in marketing.
- Experience in leading a small team to achieve marketing goals.
- Proven experience in performance marketing, social media management, copywriting, and visual direction.
- Proficiency in copywriting and visual direction.
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in defining, documenting, and refining brand identity and storytelling.
- Strong understanding of poverty issues in Malaysia and genuine empathy for the needs of the less privileged.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and resonate with diverse audiences.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to monitor and optimise key performance indicators (KPIs).
